"If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
1 John 1:9
Online confessions are blasphemy. Why?, because your confessions
are meant for God. Your confessions are for God's ears only. Stop
confessing online, if you’re truly honest you will see that
you’re doing it to glorify your sins. If you don't believe
in God then why are you confessing? Is it to unburden yourself
of your dark secrets? I can assure you that it won’t work.
If you confess without a repented heart then your confession is
worthless. Don’t confess your sins to people you don’t
know. Confessing to the internet will not bring about a change
of heart or cause you to repent, it may even have an adverse effect.
Confession with a trusted friend or loved can help. Ultimately
take your confessions to God and he will forgive you. If you are

What is implied in "confessing our sins?"
It must mean something more than merely verbal confession. "God
abhors the sacrifice, where not the heart is found."
Confession implies that we understand what our sin consists in.
And that we repent from those actions daily. A true confession
implies that we cease from all known sin, of either omission,
or commission. Also, that we cease from all excuses or apologies
for sin. He who makes an honest confession does it under the heart-conviction
that all sin is utterly wrong. Feeling this, he cannot say one
word in excuse or apology for sinning.
